Atelier is a standalone studio page, separate from the main website of Mir Ahadul Islam. It holds upcoming books and films in four folders: BOUND, ACTION!, Brewing, and Trash Bin.

BOUND

Works fully ready to publish, and films whose scripts and screenplays are complete, waiting for the right time.

Shards of Sundial City

English 3D animated film for children about friendship. Five protagonists try to save a magical city and its magical world. Full script and screenplay are complete. Waiting for an animation studio to pick it up.

Rent Free Ghosts

English satire horror film based on Bangladeshi folklore. Script and screenplay complete. Mir Ahadul Islam plans to direct. Three Canadian-Bangladeshi characters born and raised in Canada come to Bangladesh and meet friendly ghosts of the land, including Juju, Begho, and Shakhchunni.

The Boatman

Bangla horror short film. Script and screenplay complete. Planned to be directed by Mir Ahadul Islam. Two best female friends, spoiled brats, encounter something unusual one night.

The Remainder

Bangla psychological art film. Script and screenplay complete, ready to be directed by Mir Ahadul Islam. A nine-year-old girl with dyscalculia attempts to commit suicide in Dhaka. Her story unfolds backwards through ten mathematical equations, showing that sometimes the remainder is what makes us whole.

মাটির প্রদীপ (The Clay Lamp)

2D animated Bangla cartoon short for young audiences, about equality among people from all social classes. Script and screenplay complete. Intended for YouTube or television, by an independent animator or a studio.

Untitled Two-Part Short Film

One Bangla horror short, to be released as two parts. Title not yet decided. Script and screenplay written in 2014. University friends notice changes in themselves. As things grow strange, no one can be trusted. Now planned to be directed by Mir Ahadul Islam.
